For all of us applying to UBC's BSN 2016 program, let's communicate, share and give encouragement to one another throughout the process.
I just submitted my general UBC application to get the ball rolling early, and it already gave me access to get started on my supplemental application. This is my second time applying, so I hope to do a better job on my app this year and at least get an interview. But I have also accepted that this may not be my fate and I have other options.
Incidentally, to others who also applied previously: I phoned to make sure all my transcripts were still on file, and they are not! UBC admissions discards everything from last year. So I have six transcripts to send in again (including high school). Expensive and time consuming, and also seems a little crazy in the age of computers that they didn't keep electronic copies. But, we do what we have to do... Good luck everyone!
Do you guys think that lots of people are submitting their applications now? I cannot submit mine and it is frozen. I am now panicking.
Itee! last year I saw a notice on the website say it's been extended one more day because of the jam. Not sure if that'll apply this year too, but keep trying!

Thank you! I had done mine in a word document and thought it would be easy just to copy and paste and the website just froze and kept crashing. I was finally able to get it in! phew! Good luck to everyone and can't wait to hear back!

Hi. When I click on my submitted supplemental, it says:
"Your supplemental application form has been submitted. Please check the online UBC Student Service Centre for future updates to your admission..."

Hi :) mine says that there as well, but what I am looking at is the application status page on the SSC, where it shows the choice of Bachelor of Science in Nursing and that its for 2016 Winter etc.
Does anyone have an issue with their application status saying an interim transcript is still necessary? I had my school send my transcripts in early January but it is still saying that they need those transcripts in order to review my application. Emailed and called UBC but have had no reply. I am hoping they just have a lot of documents to sift through and haven't gotten to mine yet...
