For all of us applying to UBC's BSN 2016 program, let's communicate, share and give encouragement to one another throughout the process.
I just submitted my general UBC application to get the ball rolling early, and it already gave me access to get started on my supplemental application. This is my second time applying, so I hope to do a better job on my app this year and at least get an interview. But I have also accepted that this may not be my fate and I have other options.
Incidentally, to others who also applied previously: I phoned to make sure all my transcripts were still on file, and they are not! UBC admissions discards everything from last year. So I have six transcripts to send in again (including high school). Expensive and time consuming, and also seems a little crazy in the age of computers that they didn't keep electronic copies. But, we do what we have to do... Good luck everyone!
Just a heads up to people without access to doodle, I just checked and it currently says 206 participants...checked from my laptop. I still have a feeling the number is inflated, and hope those waiting get some good news tomorrow.

I started to look for alternatives. There's a 2 year waitlist here in my local college so I should probably look into that. I'll probably do some traveling if I don't get in UBC. Heck, i just booked a plane ticket to southeast asia. haha!
Hello everyone! I have also been looking at this blog constantly to know if more interviews have been sent out. After much waiting and coming to terms that I did not get an interview....I received an interview invite today! There was definitely a lot of jumping up and down when that happened. I thought I would post to let people who have not yet received interviews know that there is still hope and you should be checking your emails today!!!!! Good luck to everyone!

I received the email around noon Pacific time. It looks like there are 208 signed up and I am not sure if they will be filling all the slot times up but there are 8 free slot times left.
I was ranked 3 (top 75 percent) on admissions average and 4 on supplemental application rank (lowest 25 percent).
The results were more harsh than I thought it would be and I am really sad but congrats to people who got invited to the interview. Hope you guys do fabulous.

There are no guarantees for any of us who got an interview, and I know it is also a comfort to me to have my second choice. No matter what school we get into, ultimately, we all write the same test and some of us will work alongside one another as equals. Good luck in your program!
