UNC BSN 2015

Published

Hi all, I just submitted my UNC BSN application for the Summer 2015 program and I wanted to start this thread. I'm super anxious about waiting for the decision especially since there are so many that typically apply. Anyone else applying? Are there any current UNC students that have some insight about the program or admissions?

Thanks!!

Hey guys! I'm just joining. I'm a second degree student, got my first degree in Religious Studies from UNCG, I'm waiting to hear back from UNC about this coming summer and I'm feeling antsy!!!

Mine was dated March 3

RedtoBlue don't give up hope, from last forums plenty of people got accepted off the waitlist. I just want to know if i got in or rejected or something!! i can't take the suspense.

I know the wait isn't fun. I have plenty more of it to do. I'm sending positive thoughts your way!

I have a plan in place if I don't get in, but I'm sick of taking community college courses to get into school. At 25 years old and after two degrees, I'm ready to start the rest of my life. If I don't get in, I'm going to take more courses and go the ABSN route. I rather do a two year program, but like I said, I'm ready to start the rest of my life.

I'm with you jbrent! I turn 25 this year. I only have one degree, but I was in post-bacc for the whole year last year...

The wait is killing me. I was only left wiith the A&P 2 I hope that does not affect my application.

Same for me on all accounts. I would be very upset if me not completing one class is the reason I didn't get in. Also, at this point, I'm considering getting in my car and going to look for the mail man. I feel like I have waited long enough.

Guys, I haven't heard back yet either. But did anyone else receive an e-mail about the UNC-CH SON Hillman Scholars Program in Nursing Innovation? It was sent today at 12:09PM. Does this mean what I think it means?

No I didn't get an email..

Just got my rejection letter. Good luck everyone

You got into Duke though right? To be honest I wouldn't be surprised if both of those programs communicated with one another in terms of second degree students. I find that it's rare for people to get into both schools.
