UMSON Spring 2015

Hello everyone! I may be a little early with this, but here's a new post for all of you hoping to apply this September 2nd for the Spring 2015 semester at UMSON. You can post questions you have, helpful advice you would like to give (if you're already in the program), etc.

I specifically have a question for those who have already applied to the Spring 2014 semester and got in. When you applied last September, when in November did you get your acceptance letter in the mail? Was it the beginning, middle, or toward the end of November? I'm asking this because the other nursing school I am applying to only gives a 3-week time period after the end of October (when they let you know if you made it in or not) to accept or decline enrollment. So, if I don't make it into UMSON, I'd want to be able to give this other nursing school an answer before the 3-week time period runs out.

A Shout out to 'little mango' I got in

So happy guys I got into the CNL MS program for the non nurse at UMSON Baltimore.

I received my phone call early at 08:15 a.m this morning and it appears I may be among the earliest accepted applicants.

My letter will be mailed tomorrow and orientation will be online for us as advised.

I understand I'm not going in for the BSN program but some guidance of any sort would still help.

My CNL thread is not as robust as this one which is why I love this thread :)

CONGRATS!!!! I know some of my ole colleagues did that program, and I know one is graduating in December. Two graduated about two years ago, and another one just started this year.

Hey everyone,

I have been following this thread for a while now but never posted anything. My friend called admission on Friday asking them when we will get a responds. The lady said they will start responding in mid November (Nov. 15). lol don't know why she gave us the wrong information.

Hi Abyy, I looked online.

When you sign into SURFS and click on your application, there is a decision colum and it says "Wait Listed" for me.

Have you tried looking at your online application?

Does anyone know whether or not there will be a whitel coat ceremony for the newly notified members of the incoming spring class?

I spoke with the admissions office yesterday and they said they were in the process of notifying people even as I was on the phone with them. So they started earlier than the 15th. Idk why they are giving out mixed signals lol I just want to see my status change!
