My name is Christina Smith! I know I started this thread a little soon, but I am sure others are just as anxious as I am about applying! I have submitted my application for the spring 2016 program I just want to post some background information about myself, and anyone who has been accepted to previous semesters can share some insight with me if the wish!
I have a 3.9 GPA. My science gpa is as follows:
A: A&P 1
A: A&P 2
B Micro (Which was taken in 5 weeks, do they view the length of the semester?!)
I have gotten As in all of my other courses, and just need algebra and chemistry (which I am taking together this fall.)
I have been a CNA for 2.5 years, and have worked as a med tech for 14 months, and have recently been employed by Carroll Hospital as a MED/SURG PCT.
I have not taken my TEAS, but have purchased a study guide and plan to STUDY STUDY STUDY!!
I was accepted into my community college's ADN program, but I want to step outside my comfort zone and head towards my dream school. I am so nervous!!!!!!!!!
Wait I might of misread that. It says if you don't get a spot you can be considered for fall 2016. Then it says for consideration for semesters after 2016, you need to submit all materials again.
I guess it just rolls over for fall 2016? I'm kind of confused haha

That's exactly how I feel... confused. Are they telling us we need to resubmit letters of recommendation, transcripts, and essays all over again. I can understand paying the fee again, but all the other materials too. Maybe the policy has changed since last semester.
I recieved my waitlist letter also. It also says that admission will contact you if a spot opens up and they decide to give it to you. I'll be continuing to check online for a status change anyway though :-)
As of now there is no FB group for our cohort in Baltimore. I was trying to make one for us but FB requires me to add a person that's already a friend of mine in FB to that group before I actually
create it. If someone is willing to add me in FB, I can at least add one person to the group. You can message me and I can give you my FB name so I can get a group started for us :)
Has anyone heard from the financial aid office yet? I already created my UMID account and while I was going through my account, I saw under the financial aid that I have an unsatisfied requirement that says FAFSA rejected. Is anyone else facing the same problem? I don't think any college could actually reject a student's FAFSA, could they? I'm really relying on financial aid for spring :/
If you didn't have your fafsa sent to UMB, then you'll just need to go in and edit your fafsa and put the school code in so that they receive it. That's what I had to do, but I haven't heard anything back from them yet with any financial aid packages.

I received my wait list since 2nd day they starting telling everyone and I didnt get a letter yet, weird but Jan 8th is very late..theyre insane.
