Hello, all!
My name is Christina Smith! I know I started this thread a little soon, but I am sure others are just as anxious as I am about applying! I have submitted my application for the spring 2016 program I just want to post some background information about myself, and anyone who has been accepted to previous semesters can share some insight with me if the wish!
I have a 3.9 GPA. My science gpa is as follows:
A: A&P 1
A: A&P 2
B Micro (Which was taken in 5 weeks, do they view the length of the semester?!)
I have gotten As in all of my other courses, and just need algebra and chemistry (which I am taking together this fall.)
I have been a CNA for 2.5 years, and have worked as a med tech for 14 months, and have recently been employed by Carroll Hospital as a MED/SURG PCT.
I have not taken my TEAS, but have purchased a study guide and plan to STUDY STUDY STUDY!!
I was accepted into my community college's ADN program, but I want to step outside my comfort zone and head towards my dream school. I am so nervous!!!!!!!!!
Hi there,
I received my acceptance letter and an email from the program manager early today. However, the letter specified Shady Grove, but I prefer Baltimore campus, since it's closer and heard clinicals are across the street. So, I spoke to the admission lady and she was able fix and switch my campus to what I had originally picked. Hopefully, that'll open a door for someone who applied at Shady Groves. :) I sent my $400 non-refundable deposit receipt in the mail today, and have registered for my Orientation Registration and SSIP introduction. [For those wondering on my stats, I got an 83% on my TEAS (77% on my 1st try two years ago), 3.8 GPA, Phlebotomy Technician/CPR certified, graduated with AA, and honors from Phi Theta Kappa in 2013, I made sure my essay matched my resume. Let me also say, I'm in my 30's, and taking College Algebra this fall.] Hope this helps understand what to expect after being admitted.

Has anyone else had a similar problem? I called admissions and she stated whatever campus is in bold on my acceptance letter is the campus I am attending... That is strange that someone told you the opposite...Hm...
