My name is Christina Smith! I know I started this thread a little soon, but I am sure others are just as anxious as I am about applying! I have submitted my application for the spring 2016 program I just want to post some background information about myself, and anyone who has been accepted to previous semesters can share some insight with me if the wish!
I have a 3.9 GPA. My science gpa is as follows:
A: A&P 1
A: A&P 2
B Micro (Which was taken in 5 weeks, do they view the length of the semester?!)
I have gotten As in all of my other courses, and just need algebra and chemistry (which I am taking together this fall.)
I have been a CNA for 2.5 years, and have worked as a med tech for 14 months, and have recently been employed by Carroll Hospital as a MED/SURG PCT.
I have not taken my TEAS, but have purchased a study guide and plan to STUDY STUDY STUDY!!
I was accepted into my community college's ADN program, but I want to step outside my comfort zone and head towards my dream school. I am so nervous!!!!!!!!!
Idk if I'm less anxious, or just tired of being so nervous so I forget about it more. I've worked 12 hr shifts the past 3 days which has helped me stay busy buuuuuuutttttt you would be amazed at how often I find time to check the app. I'm going to give up until tomorrow I hope
Anyone else getting so nervous u start to question your application? Was my essay good enough. We're my references good enough? Ok maybe it's just me losing it.
Guys!! There is a recruiter at my workplace from UMSON and I told her I applied and was waiting for my decision and she said decisions should start going out today!!!! Hopefully some of us hear back later this afternoon!
I don't know if that was good news or not...now i can't put my phone down! And everytime I get an alert from this forum I am praying it is one of yall saying you have been accepted :)
Ahhhh oh my god. Now I don't know how I feel. Honestly, I feel like I'm going to vomit. I have a terrible A&P professor so I'm not doing so hot in that class. I know I'll be able to pull a C, but I dont know about a B..... Ive only ever gotten one B so it's so irritating. Does anyone know if that would be okay, since it wouldn't pull my GPA down to below a B average?? I got into my back up school, so it'll be okay either way, but obviously UMSON is the dream!
If you're going to be a prov admit you need at least a B to hold your status. Fight hard. You can do this!! Any extra credit? Just hold on, you're almost there!
