My name is Christina Smith! I know I started this thread a little soon, but I am sure others are just as anxious as I am about applying! I have submitted my application for the spring 2016 program I just want to post some background information about myself, and anyone who has been accepted to previous semesters can share some insight with me if the wish!
I have a 3.9 GPA. My science gpa is as follows:
A: A&P 1
A: A&P 2
B Micro (Which was taken in 5 weeks, do they view the length of the semester?!)
I have gotten As in all of my other courses, and just need algebra and chemistry (which I am taking together this fall.)
I have been a CNA for 2.5 years, and have worked as a med tech for 14 months, and have recently been employed by Carroll Hospital as a MED/SURG PCT.
I have not taken my TEAS, but have purchased a study guide and plan to STUDY STUDY STUDY!!
I was accepted into my community college's ADN program, but I want to step outside my comfort zone and head towards my dream school. I am so nervous!!!!!!!!!
Hey guys! I have been following this post and applied to the Spring 2016 BSN program as well. Yesterday was so rough hopefully we will hear something today! I am trying not to check, but it is so hard! Best of luck to you all!!
I have a theory. LOL. So the deadline for Towson accepted students is always before UMSON students receive their acceptance. This year it is due Nov 9.... So maybe we'll be getting notifications after that. LOL. It always seems like those accepted to Towson have to debate on sending in their deposit because they're also waiting to hear from UMSON and sometimes had to pay both... Hmmmmmm.
I am not as anxious today as I was yesterday..All that does is make the time seem longer and slower! I am trying to keep busy...But every time I see I got a new email I hope it is one of you guys telling me your status changed haha :)
This is how much stalking I have done on these forums...spring 2014 heard back nov 1/2...spring 2015 head back nov 4....spring 2015 accepted more students than sprnt 2014...and spring 2016 is accepting even more...so I am thinking it will be tomorrow at the EARLIEST. Jeeze...I wonder how many other applicants have put this much effort into this haha
So uh... not that I've been checking obsessively... but the Shady Grove registration site changed to Spring 2016 when it literally was just for Fall 2015... But like I said, I'm not obsessively checking everything for any sign of decisions coming out soon...
Hey guys, I've also been following this thread and applied for the Spring. I'm patiently waiting for that "committee ready" to change! Ok maybe not patiently, as I think I'm up to 5 checks already today. Good luck to everyone!
blessedNhopeful - I like your logic lol but if it comes true, pardon my French, that's effed up! as if college doesn't cost enough both financially, mentally, and emotionally! ugh
It just seems like it. Because every year in every forum there are future Towsend students that are frantically waiting for UMSON to come out with their decisions because they have to pay their deposit. Many go ahead and pay it and some find out they also got accepted to UMSON. But it always seems that the Towsend deadline is before decisions. If it is true, it really IS effed up. But here's hoping to tomorrow!
