REMINDER!!! The deadline to submit your Fall application is nearing. As of now, the deadline has not changed from February 2 (short of 4 weeks away).
This is my second time applying--I was wait listed for the Spring term. Currently, I am studying to take my TEAS exam again on January 27th. This exam was the only portion of my application I was not confident in. I scored a 70% without refreshing my memory on key concepts by studying before hand. I did find the test to be a "you either no it or you don't" kind of thing so from personal experience--STUDY!
I have no outstanding prerequisites and my sciences are as follows:
AP1. -- B
AP2. -- A
CHEM -- B
MICRO -- A
I had the privilege of chatting with the last group of students and found this forum to be quite helpful! Please use this post as a way of communicating, sharing experiences, and giving advice. Hopefully, we will be classmates in the Fall!:)
@blessedNhopeful I'm glad to hear that they are still reviewing applications and accepting students. That gives me hope because they still have seats left.
Thanks mimi3 and everyone else. I feel so stressed out because I don't have a decision. Still committee ready. Do you guys know if we'll eventually get a decision or what? I'm so confused. I don't even know what to think. I emailed the lady last week and she said they were still reviewing some applications. If I knew the deadline as to when I would hear back that would help so much. Right now we're just in a limb, don't even know when I'll hear back. Hate the situation. I'm in.
@aspiringnursedd nope this is the only place I applied to. Yeah I made a mistake but I took my TEAS really late and had missed towsons due date. I'm still waiting for a decision from them. At this point I just want to know.
Hey newbies! Welcome to UM! I just wanted to let you all know, if/when you start buying your books, we have a few facebook groups that senior students have been using to sell their books. If you search "UMB SON Book Exchange," you will find at least one of them. Also, please feel free to PM me if you have specific questions about the program; I just finished my second semester.
