REMINDER!!! The deadline to submit your Fall application is nearing. As of now, the deadline has not changed from February 2 (short of 4 weeks away).

This is my second time applying--I was wait listed for the Spring term. Currently, I am studying to take my TEAS exam again on January 27th. This exam was the only portion of my application I was not confident in. I scored a 70% without refreshing my memory on key concepts by studying before hand. I did find the test to be a "you either no it or you don't" kind of thing so from personal experience--STUDY!

I have no outstanding prerequisites and my sciences are as follows:

AP1. -- B

AP2. -- A

CHEM -- B

MICRO -- A

I had the privilege of chatting with the last group of students and found this forum to be quite helpful! Please use this post as a way of communicating, sharing experiences, and giving advice. Hopefully, we will be classmates in the Fall!:)

@GreyLady Is the SSIP mandatory before starting classes down at the Baltimore campus?

Sending/accepting friend requests does not allow communication using the private messaging feature until a member has at least 15 quality board posts.

@ readyforschool I think SSIP is where we register for classes and get more information about labs/courses/expectations but it sounds like if you can't make any of the sessions, you can register after the SSIP sessions are completed per the admitted students website. It's probably best to call admissions office to verify.

SSIP workshops, etc. are offered on several dates to keep the group size small for Baltimore BSN students. Shady Grove students get the same thing only as part of their two day orientation as our group size is smaller. Registration for classes and labs is open for Shady Grove students as soon as their status changes and they submit a proper Registration Approval form. Baltimore students will register as a group at their SSIP sessions.

@Grey Lady, I still have to take another class during summer. I wanted to know by when do I have to submit my final transcript?

As soon as possible and before Orientation, I think. I would double check with admissions to be sure.

Hi Nover- I took the American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare providers course at my community college and that was accepted by certified profile.
