UMSON Fall 2014

U.S.A. Maryland

Published

Deadline is set - February 3, 2014

Who is applying?

Busybee, I haven't sent the intent in yet, I was going to wait to see if I get into Towson. I think the intent isn't due til the middle of April so I'm hoping to find out if I got admitted to either Towson or UMSON first!

Huh...my letter asked for the intent to be returned by February 28th... But no deposit is due till May. I returned the statement, just in case, but I'm also waiting to hear from the two other schools, since I wouldn't have to move. It struck me as very strange that salisbury had almost an 'early decision' cycle schedule, instead of sticking with the time frame most of the other Maryland schools seem to be using.. (Applications due around January, decisions in March/April).

For those of you who have applied to multiple schools, do any of them have a stipulation that you withdraw your applications to other schools once you accept their offer of admission? I know that is a requirement of some schools.

Not that I'm aware of. Although once I put a seat fee down, I personally would not give it up.

Mine finally changed to Committee ready!!! My heart started pounding I saw it! I feel excited, nervous and anxious! I thought it would never change!

Just checked my letter again and it said I don't need to send the intent until April 11th. I wonder why yours was so early, I didn't receive my letter until February 26th and know some people that didn't receive their's until the 28th. When did you get your letter??

It was dated 2/11. Also I just got an interview at UMSON!!!! Eeeeek!!!!

Congrats BusyBee91!!

Question, how did they contact you for the interview?

Via email. I believe they are still scheduling more interviews for the coming week(s?)

I wasn't aware there were any interviews! Is this because you are applying to the CNL program?

I did apply to the CNL program; I'm not sure if the BSN program does interviews or not. I realized after I jumped in this thread that most of you are applying to the BSN program - I started a CNL thread but it's pretty lonely over there so far. What made you all choose BSN over CNL?

Busybee91,

Sorry one more question. What does the status of your application say now that you got your email. Has it changed to committee ready? Thanks again.
