I have a question:

How long normally takes after your application become "committee ready" to receive an answer?

someone in admissions was playing some very serious games and for some reason they didn't receive my TEAS scores (even though it is sent electronically), even though I paid to resend it 3 times (which isn't cheap!). As a result they did not officially receive my TEAS until the 24th! so application is still "complete, ready for review" and Lord knows when that will change! :sniff:

Protip:

As long as your Application status says "Complete: Ready for Review" your decision will eventually change to "Committee Ready"

They are separate options on your surfs.

Be more concerned to look out that your application was indeed complete and that all the requirements were received and signed off on.

You guys can probably chill until April 1st as they most likely won't be sending out acceptances until then. ALSO, people will get decisions from April 1st probably through the last week of April.

I've been watching these forums for years so I know how UMSON has done things in the past.

My status just changed to Committee Ready today! April can't come fast enough! Did anyone else apply to Salisbury University's Nursing program?? I got my letter last week from them and I got accepted:) so I'm pretty anxious for this letter and the Towson one because UMSON is my first choice.

Erikall, we applied to the same programs and have the same first choice preference! Except I applied to the CNL option of UMB, not the BSN. Anyone else trying to do CNL? Also, did you return the statement of intent to salisbury? I thought it was interesting that they asked for intent before the deposit is due in May...

My application still states Complete Ready for Review, rather than Committee Ready. But like queserasera says, I am 'trying' not to panic because in looking at my checklist, everything was initialed off mid-January. So atleast, I think there should not be any delay in terms of them not having received the materials for my application. Has anyone heard anything else? Thanks!

You are Committee Ready. If accepted, you will see that change to Admit Institution or Provisional Admit. Good luck!

It takes quite a while to make sure all several hundred applications are totally ready for the committee to vote on. In that process, incomplete applications are deleted. Once you are at Complete and Ready for Review it means nothing is apparently missing. After that, your application is reviewed one more time and in depth to make absolutely sure it is ready to go, your status changes to Committee Ready. Once you are at Committee Ready, don't expect anything to change until late March at the earliest although there are so many variables nobody can predict that exactly. As hard as it might be, you may as well quit watching your status until then.
