Who is applying?
Hey everyone, I just noticed the "accepted students" portion of UMSON's website has been updated. The greeting now reads something along the lines of "Congratulations on your acceptance to the Fall 2014 BSN program". Perhaps this is a good sign that decisions will being going out sooner rather than later. They've already posted orientation information as well. What a tease!

I'm not even going to look at that website!! I need to get through 2 exams before my spring break begins on Saturday....gotta stay focused!
Congrats BHoltz! That must be invigorating to finally hear the voice say, "you're in".
For those who don't know 2+2 students are those that do their pre reqs at Univeristy of Maryland Baltimore County and are guaranteed acceptance upon transfer to UMSON (granted their gpa etc meets UMSON's stringent min. requirements)
That being said if BHoltz got a call looks like the regular applicants notices are just on the Horizon. Perhaps Husky2011's guess at April 11th will prove true! Monday is my guess, so they don't break it up over the weekend, but you never know. I hope everyone here gets called today! Haha!

I'm so sorry for your loss. I don't know the answer to your question, but I wanted to say as someone who has experienced the lose of a parent (my father died just before I entered college) I would personally advise you to take time away from school, whether you can defer the time or not. I made the mistake of continuing my education because I thought it would be a great distraction. Geez, I was sooo wrong! My freshman year in college was HORRENDOUS (worst GPA in my academic career); dealing with a lost parent was harder then I could have possibly imagined and I'm still dealing with the ramifications even now, and I wish everyday I had taken time away from school. Take your time, mourn, reflect, enjoy your time with your family...school isn't going anywhere....just my 2 cents.
