Who is applying?
Congrats!Does anyone have an idea as to the class schedule for the first semester? I'm applying to MC as well, and MC's schedule seems much more conducive to someone having a job/family. You can schedule classes for 2 days/wk and then clinical on another day. UMB's classes look sort of all over the place, which will be hard since I have little kids. Anyway, if anyone knows what the schedule it like, I'd love to hear about it! Thanks!
Just asked a current student - she said usually she has class 4 days a week either 8-3 or 8-5 and then once clinicals started it was 5 days a week.
I think generally Community Colleges will have more "workable" schedules based on the demands of their students (most are non-traditional students!)

Wow that's a full schedule. I didn't realize it was that much class time. Gotta get in first! Then I can make a decision...
We had spring break already in March. I'll take another one though!!
Re: class schedule first semester: The curriculum is changing in the fall so class times/days will more than likely be different than they currently are if for no other reason than BSN's and CNL's no longer have any classes together. But yes, first semester had classes 3 days a week with 1 day of lab. When clinicals started you no longer had lab so it was still 4 days a week.
Good luck to everyone!

Opps you're right! I took another look at the calendar and it said March not April! So much for my theory!
Wow, maybe I'm just having a bad day because I'm super stressed out about the exams I have to take in the next 36 hours, but I'm feeling so flustered right now! I want to go to UMB soooooooooo badly, like I really really really want this! It's funny because I'm feeling the EXACT feelings I felt when I was applying to college the first time. I really wanted to go to GW and I stressed out about it. Eventually I was accepted, but I'm really not so sure about UMB. It would be a major blow not to be accepted, because I truly don't want to go to any other school.....sorry for being dramatic, I just needed to get that off my chest!
Hey PinkEagle,
Don't be sorry, I think all of us feel the same way right now. Personally, this is something I've been working it for the past couple years, and to know that we will be receiving our decisions soon makes it so nervewracking!! Let's all hope for the best and I sincerely hope we all hear good news soon!!!!
Hey guys, this is kind of a dumb question, but do you think they would typically call all of the people accepted (all at once) on one day, or do you think maybe it may take a couple.
queserasera, do you remember anything about this? I know its not too important in the big scheme of things, but this was just one of the many thoughts floating through my brain right now...
