Who is applying?

Katie - definitely call the college. I had a similar situation last semester with a math course and I was able to take in in AACC's winter semester (instead of fall). I ended up being waitlisted, but they did honor the credits taken still for the application cycle.

Also, if you can - take ***********. I took her for General & Organic Chemistry. She's a bit nutty but very willing to help and explain things to students!

Hey everyone, sorry to be repetitive but do you think we may be hearing back at the end of this week?

I think previous years heard back on around the 11th of April...Has anyone heard anything new?

I called about three times throughout the day and no one has answered. I am assuming that I will still be okay and will still be considered for Fall admission. Thanks for your help busybee, queserasera and afowler!

Has anyone made a Facebook group yet?

And if I decide to drop the class I will email them but should I do anything else? Re-send my transcripts or send them a new pre-requisite course list?

My suggestion - don't make a facebook group until some people have been accepted. I know it's fun to start communicating, but that would suck if one of us makes the group, gets to know everyone and then doesn't get in to the program. That would totally bum me out!

Also, Protip to you beautiful ladies with your faces as your profile pic: Change your picture so it's something anonymous and remove all personal details from your profile page. A moderator in another forum recently mentioned that these boards are supposed to be semi-anonymous!

Regarding a facebook group, UMSON creates one for each class and campus. They'll explain when you get accepted. That's where they answer questions and share important information, so everyone in the group can see, since students usually have the same questions.

Hi Katie,

Are you taking any other classes? UMSON is still going to want your end of semester transcript. If your school is like mine (FCC) then classes you've registered for will appear on the transcript too. Then they'll need another transcript at the end of the summer class. I would still talk to them for more details.
