UMSON CNL SPRING 2020

Nursing Students School Programs

Did anybody apply for UMSON CNL Spring 2020?

@Ryan - I like it so far - its tough...but I like it a lot. One thing that is unique about maryland is that we take patho and pharm as one class where many programs you take it as 2 separate classes. Learning both at the same time can be challenging as it can be a lot of work...but it does make learning medications [and how they work] easier since you are learning systems [i.e. you learn blood medications (anticoagulants) as you learn about blood]. There are no classes on Monday's in your first semester. Mondays is where you have your learning labs [guided study groups/group tutoring] for all your classes...which is SUPER helpful. You can always count on having what we call a "super session" where a second year student will essentially have a 1-2 hour study session prior to an exam.

@hwmaroon that is what I am seeing too. Don't know what comes after completed. I had my interview sep 11th and I am still waiting for the result.

@annorieswild, I interviewed about 10 days after you. Lets keep our fingers crossed that we will both get in. No news is good news!

I

@hwmaroon you are right. no news is good news, lol. I have kinda removed my mind from it.

Lol! My dashboard says completed but I called them and the said that I was still under committee review. Let’s wait until the end of this month! It’s not over yet

Hello guys,

Your comments have been so helpful. I check my account like every 2 minute ?OCD. So I applied and turned in all my documents last day, I mean last minute. This waiting game is extreme.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but if you didn't get an interview invite or you interviewed several weeks ago and haven't heard from UMSON, that means you weren't accepted. Sorry for the reality check.

@hwmaroon thank you for the information dear, but how do you know.

annorieswild, usually those who are accepted receive notification within two weeks of their interview date. Likewise, those who are offered interviews are usually notified within two weeks of their files being committee ready.
