Please research schools that accept CNL for DNAP and enlighten us that was a my specific question when I did my interview. I got very good answer that informed my decision. If you plan to go into DNAP,???how much of the extra 9months spent in school credit can you put toward your doctorate. 14-16credits. Virginia Is closer to me than baltimore. i researched what I wanted to do and the bsn gives me more options.

From my end is 36miles I live in Maryland. If you drive, Bethesda is good but if you don’t it’s better to live near school as winter is approaching. If you live in dc, some days you may have to drive,, some classes start before 8.00am and some end late . I was told there is a reliable shuttle to foggy bottom, it may not work out everyday.

ABSN at GWU is 15month, 60 credits while CNL at UMSON is 24month with over 90 credits, if you do the calculations. UMSON is over $900 per credit hour. Scholarships may not pay up to half. Each school have ways of funding for financial assistance for students. Also the salary difference between the two is small i would prefer less burg pike commute to Baltimore traffic

Thank you. My account still say complete. I called and was told that my application is still under review. I got into GW and I accepted the offer. It will give me more options for clinical degree rather than admin. I am not too sold out for nurse leader as I hope one day to do a PhD as nurse anesthesia but CNL does not give that flexibility. Goodluck to us all
