University of Maryland School of Nursing (UMSON) BSN Spring 2023

Hey everyone!

I'm applying to UMSON for BSN Spring 2023. I wanted to create this thread so we can share info or ask any questions.

Probably a bit early before regular deadline but priority deadline is coming up (July 15) which is what I'm aiming for.

same here man, I sumbitted my application do you have any idea when they will be releasing decisions

They should update the main page with projected decision dates after the deadline passes. I plan on checking after the 15th if I don't hear anything. 

But based on previous threads here, it looks like priority applicants received their acceptance the week of the regular deadline. So no later than September maybe?

I just sent in my application last night. The thought of possibly not hearing back until September… I’m so impatient.

Hopefully so mehn. Are u applying  to shady grove campus

Yes! I applied to shady grove. I live too far from Baltimore for that campus to be feasible. 

Best of luck! Not sure why I'm so nervous.

I sent mines in too. hope to hear good news. what score do they look at for the TEAS?

On their site about TEAS FAQs it says Proficient or higher. “A lower score does not mean you will not be admitted. However, high scores do make your application more competitive.”

They look at your overall, national percentile and each subcategory.

I just received my provisional acceptance letter today! That was a surprise. I can't wait to hear from others.
