Hello!
I could not find a cohort for Fall 2025, so we can use this!
This was my first semester applying, so for those who applied before and sending in the packing as well, how do you feel about the whole application being fully online?
What points did everyone apply with? I applied with just 70 points. My TEAS score was not the best, but I managed to barely qualify. Let me know how you all did!

Hi!
This was my first round of applying as well, so I can't speak to the difference between the fully online application vs the packet. It did make it a pretty simple process. I applied with 70 as well. Good luck! Did you apply anywhere else?
It was quite simple compared to SCC's program! I was only able to also apply to SCC for the adn and lvn program. My TEAS score was extremely low at 68% (even after taking it a second time) so I did not meet the minimum points for any other schools. Did you apply anywhere else? What was your TEAS score?

Hi! First-time applying and I applied with 75 points. I applied to Sierra, SCC, ARC, and USF in the Sacramento region. Good luck to everyone hopefully we hear back soon!
@smileybear07 my TEAS score was 88.7, I was able to apply to 2 other schools Butte and Chico state. I'm taking Stats this semester so I can apply to SCC, Sierra and Yuba for Spring, if I am not lucky this round. @Lidsi how was the process of USF in Sac? I keep looking at their website and I was a little confused on the pre reqs that were listed.
@Jayjayful I applied over a month ago and it was pretty straight forward. They asked for basic prereqs like anatomy, physio, micro, and psych. Pretty sure they also wanted some GE/ college credits done too. I got my AS from Sierra so I already had all my GE complete. There were 2 essays and they asked for my unofficial transcripts/ work history and I think that was it. The application fee was $70 so it was kinda a lot tbh. After I applied I looked at the costs of the school and realized it was super expensive so definitely trying to get into a community and using USF sac as a last resort LOL
@Jayjayful what resources did you use for TEAS? I honestly such at test taking in general but the second time I took the test, it was sooo hard!
@Lidsi I wanted to apply to USF in sac but it's expensive! Besides essays, did you need letters of recommendations?
@smileybear07 I used the mometrix book, nurse hub, and I also got the ATI package, which I felt helped a lot. I studied everyday for 6 weeks and focused on one subject a day.
@Lidsi thank you for the breakdown! I think it was the GE requirements that was a little different than what the other schools needed. I'll have my AS at the end of the semester so maybe I can look at them again next round. Although I completely agree, CC price tag is much more appealing!
