Hello ! I wanted to get some feedback for anyone going through RN program at SCC. I recently got accepted for Fall 2025, and wanted to see what was first semester/year like. What clinical sites did you get to attend? Are lectures in-person only or partially online? Any tips on studying? All my science class exams were heavily based on lectures, not so much on the book. I was wondering if it's the same for nursing. Is it possible to be employed part time or there is no room for a job at all with all the studying? Any feedback would be appreciated. Thank you

@Girlypop67 I know UC Davis is one of their sites. My friend works there as a nurse and she said she gets Sac City students. Not sure about others

It should be soon because they have orientation scheduled for May1st. So defiently before May ? If anyone wonders where I saw it, it's in their class requirements for NURSE 400

@Jayjayful I think that is the case. My application status or submission date hasn't changed at all. I don't know how they do it but maybe it depends on who reviews your application and they don't update it.

@Janeth Breceda mine still says submitted. Has yours changed?

Mine says submitted too. They either already selected people or maybe they are still going through applications

@trailrunningmama does your application status online say submitted. If it does I think you should be okay. I got an email on losrios gmail only.

After I submitted my application, I got an email stating that we will hear back approximately 5 weeks after application closing date. I think because application is fully online now , it is easier to go through them. I keep checking my email every 10 minutes ?
