  1. I asked those exact questions when I met with my advisor. Yes, they are accredited and you take the NCLEX for California. There's a facebook group that I joined that is just for California students going to Nightingale that is so helpful. Nightingale College California Students. A question I asked on the FB group was those that currently attend NG do you wish you had waited longer to try and get into a local school and EVERYONE said they wish they had started Nightingale sooner. Nightingale was my last option and not at all what I wanted but I have to turn it into a positive as im older and don't have the luxury of time to ride out the lottery. In 2.4 years I'll finish with my BSN and a lot of student loan debt.
  2. This was my 3rd cycle applying and not getting in. Not gonna lie, I'm feeling down. I've kept Nightingale as my backup and will start there on 5/6. Those of you in the same boat check it out. CONGRATULATIONS to all that got in. I'm happy for you. On to the next. ❤️
  3. I applied to SCC, Sierra and ARC. ARC has always been my top pick since its where I did ALL of my previous classes. Hoping for a miracle as this is my 2nd time applying to all of them.
  4. I wonder if ARC and SCC communicate on who they accept. Congrats!
  5. Did they announce for Fall and Spring, or just Fall?
  6. Mine just says recieved, and my SCC isn't even posted under eservices. I can't remember how long it took them to post it when I applied last year. I read on the Sierra College forum that they sent out there acceptance emails yesterday.
  7. WOW! Congrats! Can I ask how many points you had, how many times you applied before and had you taken most of your classes at Sierra? This was my first time applying to Sierra and I'd only ever taken a Sociology class there.
  8. Hello everyone! Just starting a thread for SCC Fall 2024 RN program. Hope to hear from everyone applying!
  9. Thank you for starting this thread. I keep meaning to start one for ARC and SCC as it doesn't seem like they have one.
  10. I still don't see anything on eServices about my SCC application, only my ARC application. Wondering if your SCC application has posted in SCC. It makes me so nervous, like maybe they didn't get it.
  11. After you filled out your SCC application did it show up in eservices under Nursing Application, or does it not show there until after they receive it? When I filled out my ARC application it instantly does, but not my SCC application. I'm not remembering the process from last year when I applied to SCC. I filled out my SCC application on the site, received the email and printed the cover page. I just don't want to mail it off if I made a mistake. Any info you can share will be so helpful. Thank you.
  12. Congratulations! Can I ask how many points you had and did you have any previous health care experience for the extra 5 points? Wondering if I should get my CNA between now and the next round of applications. Congratulations! 13. Congratulations!! Can I ask how many points you had and what your TEAS score was?
