UMSON Baltimore/Shady Grove BSN FALL 2019

Hi All! I wanted to see who has applied for UMSON for the fall 2019 Semester. I have applied for the Baltimore campus. I am very nervous, as I retook two classes, so my current overall GPA of 3.75 will go down to a 3.3 as they factor that in. For an overall science GPA, mine is an 3.8. On the TEAS, I received a 73.3 overall, Having and 82 on the reading, and 87 on math. I also have experience at a nursing home that I currently work at now. Has any one else applied? Which campus? I have also heard that UMSON takes long to get back and most won't hear until April. I turned in my application on Jan 29., and I keep looking like they would have already said something hahah. Hope to hear back soon!

Hi! Question regarding the plan of study for Baltimore’s BSN - I was under the impression that this program was completed in 17 CONSECUTIVE months (4 continuous semesters including one summer). Can anyone confirm or deny this?

No, it’s a normal school schedule: fall semester, spring semester, fall semester, spring semester. My step sister just graduated from the program this past December so that’s how I know that lol

I submitted mine like January 29th or 30th lol like a day or two before the deadline.

I had all my stuff submitted by Jan 28. My status changed to “committee ready” today. Positive vibes to everyone!! ?

Edit:

In the email about verifying location they stated, “If you wish to change your selection you must respond to this email by Wednesday, March 20th. Changes will not be made after this.” Was that the same date for everyone? I assumed my status would change today because of that deadline they provided.

Science GPA 4.0

Teas test 75% ( I don’t have good score but my finger crossed!)

I applied for priority back in October but was deferred to the spring decision. Been committee ready since December or the beginning of January, can't remember when I noticed, and just waiting. I already have a BS/MS and am changing careers after several years working. Applied to Baltimore's campus and for the Conway Scholars Program.

Overall TEAS was a 90.7%(99th percentile), 83% on science (94th percentile) and reading (82nd percentile), 100% for math and English (99th percentile)

Not sure how they're calculating my science/overall GPA since I have the BS, MS and a few classes at my local community college. Hoping to hear something soon!

I got into Towson's program a couple of days ago so I will probably will submitting my letter of intent to them soon while I wait for UMSON (since they decisions aren't coming til end of April/early May I believe). UMSON is my top choice so I hope they accept me as well. Also mine says committee ready too! I submitted around january 16th.
