UMSON Baltimore/Shady Grove BSN FALL 2019

Hi All! I wanted to see who has applied for UMSON for the fall 2019 Semester. I have applied for the Baltimore campus. I am very nervous, as I retook two classes, so my current overall GPA of 3.75 will go down to a 3.3 as they factor that in. For an overall science GPA, mine is an 3.8. On the TEAS, I received a 73.3 overall, Having and 82 on the reading, and 87 on math. I also have experience at a nursing home that I currently work at now. Has any one else applied? Which campus? I have also heard that UMSON takes long to get back and most won't hear until April. I turned in my application on Jan 29., and I keep looking like they would have already said something hahah. Hope to hear back soon!

Congrats!! That's so exciting!! Are you leaning towards one in particular? I haven't heard anything yet and I honestly just wish they sent out an email lol

Right ? I truly wasn’t expecting it to be in there but I’ve been stalking my mail person since last week lol. I’m honestly not sure, I have been leaning towards UMSON but I’m equally excited to get accepted to Towson. I already was accepted to AACC which was my back up plan but I’ve been holding my breath for at least one of the BSN programs. Like I mentioned, the letter was dated the 15th so I’d imagine if not today within the next day or so! Good luck! Can’t wait to hear everyone else’s good news.

I got my letter from Towson, too! I immediately panicked b/c it was a little letter, but it's a contingency acceptance (I'm still in A&PII)!!

Yay!! Congrats, mine are contingent on the 2 classes I’m taking right now as well. Are you planning on accepting the offer ??

I don't think so. UMSON is my Number 1 pick (if I get the Conway scholarship), then CCBC's ATB program through Towson, because it is the cheapest option. Towson traditional BSN program is too expensive, in my opinion.
