UMSON Baltimore/Shady Grove BSN FALL 2019

Hi All! I wanted to see who has applied for UMSON for the fall 2019 Semester. I have applied for the Baltimore campus. I am very nervous, as I retook two classes, so my current overall GPA of 3.75 will go down to a 3.3 as they factor that in. For an overall science GPA, mine is an 3.8. On the TEAS, I received a 73.3 overall, Having and 82 on the reading, and 87 on math. I also have experience at a nursing home that I currently work at now. Has any one else applied? Which campus? I have also heard that UMSON takes long to get back and most won't hear until April. I turned in my application on Jan 29., and I keep looking like they would have already said something hahah. Hope to hear back soon!

Is anyone going to shady grove and can't attend UMSON 101?? I'm going on vacation that week, so I contacted them and asked if there was an alternate date I could come in to get my ID card etc but they said there wasn't one set yet.

Hey,

Does anyone know anything about what to do with the safemedicate and the med calc testing? I got an email from July 18 but it sounded like more information would be provided as far as the software and testing. Figured I'd see if anyone here knows any further details.

Did y’all buy ALL leather shoes?

I found some super comfortable new balances but they have a kinda meshy fabric tongue and “breathing holes”... but other than that are leather....

I wonder if that would be ok...since in the handbook it says “solid leather or composite PREFERRED”

Where did you get the handbook?

I have no clue what else I need to get besides the school scrub. Oh I got stethoscope and watch with second hand.
