UMSON Baltimore/Shady Grove BSN FALL 2019

Hi All! I wanted to see who has applied for UMSON for the fall 2019 Semester. I have applied for the Baltimore campus. I am very nervous, as I retook two classes, so my current overall GPA of 3.75 will go down to a 3.3 as they factor that in. For an overall science GPA, mine is an 3.8. On the TEAS, I received a 73.3 overall, Having and 82 on the reading, and 87 on math. I also have experience at a nursing home that I currently work at now. Has any one else applied? Which campus? I have also heard that UMSON takes long to get back and most won't hear until April. I turned in my application on Jan 29., and I keep looking like they would have already said something hahah. Hope to hear back soon!

So if you go to this website https://directory.umaryland.edu/ you should be able to set up your account! That's how I did it! I emailed them too asking if I should wait for an email and they said I would be able to go ahead and sign up without an email and was!

So I tried. The service desk said I should be able to log in by Friday since I paid my deposit last night

Oh thats weird, I was able to sign up for it all right after paying the deposit. I didn't get my school email address until a few days after that.

I got registered for the class yesterday!

I paid $400 deposit and after 2 days, they assigned my an UM email address. I was able to creat student account way before the acceptance (nothing special but to check my FAFSA status).

I just need to do other stuffs like background check etc. ?

I just received an email and they will have an admitted BSN student chat on

Thursday, April 25th at 1:00 p.m.

Monday, April 29th at 10:00 a.m.

just incase someone didn't receive it.

Does anyone know if you can retake one of your pre-requisite classes during the summer, and still start nursing school in fall 2019? I have low B's in microbio and a&p2 right now and I'm worried it might drop to a C which is annoying because I know UMSON wants you to finish pre-reqs with B's. I've emailed them asking this but they haven't replied so I'm wondering if anyone here has answers?

I just finished the accepted students chat, try emailing [email protected] she does admissions/confirming spots.

Anyone else at the baltimore campus able to register for classes? I paid the deposit but everything I keep seeing says that we register at the UMSON 101? Where has everyone else registered for their classes?

I'm going to Shady Grove, but I was at the online BSN chat last week and someone asked about that. Baltimore students aren't going to register until orientation over the summer so the only ones who can right now are going to be Shady Grove students! I'm not sure how yall register for orientation or when you do that but classes come later!

Did anyone get an email with the subject line : URGENT clinical site evaluations

It states to respond by May 6th but i can’t log in...maybe it isn’t for new BSN students..

So I’m awfully confused about the castle branch business. I’m only seeing the health requirements, not the background and drug test listed. Also, is there anything available to bring to any appointments to accomplish these things? Probably a really dumb question lol but figured I’d ask.
