UMass Worcester GEP Fall 2019

Hi everyone! I didn't see a UMass Worcester GEP Fall 2019 thread so I thought I would start one. I submitted my application in September. The last I heard was they were going to start to review the applications they have in hand at the end of September and would at some point start extending interviews. In a past info session, they said they have a rolling admissions process. I haven't heard anything more since then, so I'm just sitting tight.

Just got the call, I've been accepted to the Family track! Did anyone end up making a Facebook page?

That is awesome! I suspected they'd start interviewing earlier than the deadline but then I waited until 2 weeks ago to get my app in. I hope whoever reads this next year will see that if you submit in advance of the deadline you may get an interview and accepted before the deadline is even up!

Does anyone have any recommendations for a cheap online Nutrition Course? This is my only pre req remaining and would like to spend as little money as possible. Thanks! :)

I would look into the community colleges in your state. I took my nutrition course online at one of them at a fraction of the price of an online university.

Hi Lprecopio,

I actually just submitted my FAFSA and called the financial AID office, they said the info won't even be posted until Mid January and that we have until April or May, so we're ahead of the game!

Thank you! Do you happen know how much the deposit is and how long we have to decide? I haven't received my acceptance package in the mail yet so I don't have all the info

Congrats, Lnp18! The deposit is $650 and it is due 15 days from the date of the letter when you receive it. My letter was dated the day after I received the call saying I was accepted.
