UMass Worcester GEP Fall 2019

Hi everyone! I didn't see a UMass Worcester GEP Fall 2019 thread so I thought I would start one. I submitted my application in September. The last I heard was they were going to start to review the applications they have in hand at the end of September and would at some point start extending interviews. In a past info session, they said they have a rolling admissions process. I haven't heard anything more since then, so I'm just sitting tight.

Thanks for starting this thread! I applied in early October and haven't heard anything yet, but I've seen that some people received decisions in early November in previous years.

This week I received an invitation for an interview! Seems like the admissions process is rolling.

Thanks for starting the thread! I applied about a week ago and have not heard anything either. It eases my mind a bit to know that someone before me hasn't heard either. Good luck on your interview!

They actually called me to let me know I was selected for an interview and then offered some dates/times to choose over the phone. I thought the interview went really well - very straightforward questions (e.g., why do you want to do this track/program? where do you see yourself in 5 years? what support systems do you have in place, etc.). It was a great discussion overall and UMass has always been my top choice, but I learned new strengths about the program during the interview that makes me even more excited about it (I had so many questions!). I did apply very early on, so if you haven't heard back yet, I wouldn't fret - it seems they are reviewing on a rolling basis.

For those of you guys who've submitted their application, did you receive an email from the school saying they've received your application or anything? Or was there just an email asking for an interview?
