Anyone out there apply? I have seen threats for previous years, but none for this year. Just thought I would get one going!

So, I still haven't received a formal letter, and my major still says exercise science. I don't think I got in, but it's been a while since my status was updated to them having a decision. The office of admissions has not emailed me back either. Either way, in the grand scheme of things, I would just like a formal notice so I can put it out of my mind!

Hi cquachie, i want umass as 1st choice because of cost and its great reputation. I have about 5 friends who graduated from their program and say nothing but great things. The clinical placements are the best in boston and the nursing professors are great and i have been told the students have alot of resources there! Mgh is also great but its accelerated and i was told that sometimes the it is so rushed that you miss out on good clinical placements and you arent exposed to as much as you would if you were in a normal paced program. Of course these are all opinions from people i know but i trust their insight!!

My status changed today! It says a decision has been made, letter is coming within 14 days! Fingers crossed.

JLrunner5, sweet! I just found my letter today actually dating back from December 14th, saying that I would get a decision by March 10. Thanks for your post, that was very reassuring!

Just got my acceptance letter. See you all there and can't wait to meet everyone!

Also, if anyone would like to meet up or get in touch so things can be a little bit breezier before and during the program, let me know!

Yay!!! Congratulations cquachie!!! I'm so happy for you!!! :)

Thanks MallyGirl, hope you get in too!!

My status finally changed saying that I'll receive a letter within 2 weeks. Everyone keep us updated as to whether you receive a letter in the mail! Good luck!

Mine changed today too- a decision has been made, letter in 14 days. Fingers crossed!

Congrats, everyone!

OBrienMP - Don't give up and good luck on the other schools you applied to! I think some schools will give you feedback on your application and that's a good way to strengthen your future applications.

Thanks, UMBDude. Hopefully I will get into somewhere...I was just really hoping for a state school because northeastern and Regis are EXPENSIVE! Great programs, but who want a to pay that much if they don't have to!? Time to look for scholarships! Anyways, I've been denied entry enough to know that it's not "me", per say....good luck all! Crossing my fingers for you guys!
