UMass Boston fall 2014 Traditional BSN

Same here! Bummer since I did apply all the way back in October, so I assume letters should go out by priority but maybe not. Someone told me from undergrad admissions we should all hear back by March 1, and some of you are saying March 15 according to your letter (one that I received months ago but lost)...I'm sure its the latter.

Got a letter today that I have been selected in the applicant pool, as well. It said my decision letter will be mailed out by March 10th. More waiting...ahh!

I've also been checking every day to see if my major changes because I think it's safe to say that if your major changes from nursing, you didn't get in. Doesn't this process put a huge knot in your stomach?! I'm going crazy lol :wideyed:

Just checked today and it said a decision has been made and I will get a formal letter within 14 days. So by March 11 if it takes the full time to deliver. I've seen that many of you have already gotten this status many days ago so can't wait for all the updates!

Mallygirl, hi! No, my major has not changed from nursing...but I've read that if it changed to your second choice (usually exercise Science), then you most likely didn't get in. Best of luck! Just got denied from Simmons.

Well that is a really good sign then! I'm hoping you got in! :) Sorry to hear about Simmons, but keep the faith that the school that is perfect for you will be sending you an acceptance letter. The wait is tough. did you apply to any other programs aside from UMASS and Simmons?

Hello! I applied for the traditional BA program in October. I received a letter over a month ago saying I made it into the pool of applicants. On the website it says I'll be receiving a letter shortly, and still says Nursing(BS) as my program plan. The wait is killing me! Good luck everyone, I'll post if I receive any updates!

Mallygirl, in terms of solely Boston, I also applied to Northeastern and got in but it was too expensive. I'm from San Diego, CA and applied to National University and got into there but am in need of change! How about yourself and all the other posters? Sending so much luck everyone's way!

I also am still waiting on the final decision...it seems like it is taking forever! I got into MGH accelerated program, but my first choice is UMass, I really am hoping to get in there! cquachie, hoping you get good news, soon, as well as everyone else!!!!

I didn't consider other BSN programs, so I only applied to UMass.

Jlrunner5, why is UMASS your first choice? Still trying to get as many opinions and factual information as possible. Have heard good things about MGH, congrats!!
