Hi guys!
I'm currently completing my undergrad+prereqs to apply in the next year to UM's ABSN program for the Spring 2019 session (Apps due next august). I know it's a very premature thread but I thought there might be other applicants for the Spring 2019 session who are already freaking out about apps like me. If any students who were accepted for previous threads could share their experience, tips, or stats here that would be incredibly helpful.
We got this.
Not that I would expect anyone to come back to this page if it was the case but just out of curiosity was anyone flat out rejected yet or know someone who applied for this term and got rejected?
I've read in past forums that some students didn't receive rejection notices until september/October. If this is the case I wish they notified students they intend on rejecting, much sooner! This would totally help students plan ahead. The waiting game is the worst part. It's by far harder than any class. I dont think anyone has received a rejection letter yet. They really drag that out it seems. I'll post eventually whether I get accepted or rejected.
Also, I don't know if I'm just late to finding this out but for anyone that didn't know. The admissions office told me that even though they allow you to retake one prerequisite, your original grade is still calculated in to the GPA they create for you. That definitely brought me down a little bit so hopefully that helps you guys out!
