Hi guys!
I'm currently completing my undergrad+prereqs to apply in the next year to UM's ABSN program for the Spring 2019 session (Apps due next august). I know it's a very premature thread but I thought there might be other applicants for the Spring 2019 session who are already freaking out about apps like me. If any students who were accepted for previous threads could share their experience, tips, or stats here that would be incredibly helpful.
We got this.
does anyone know if they send out rejections right after reviewing an application or do they wait until the end to reject the remaining applicants they hadn't made a decision on once the cohort is full? i'm getting a little nervous about my application being changed to complete so quickly!

I'm not sure when they send out rejections, but I'm interested in this as well. My application still says incomplete even though my app was verified back in April... It's been so long and plenty of other students have heard back from UM even though they submitted their apps in May/June, I kind of lost hope....
OMG GUYS! I looked on CaneLink student home and under admissions, it has a green check and says "Admitted" for the Nursing Program 2019!!! I haven't gotten any emails or messages on CaneLink and can't pay my deposit either but it says Admitted!
EDIT: Actually the Message Center just updated 20 minutes ago and has the decision notification letter! Although I can't seem to open that either.

Our first term is as follows: Mon & Tues, 2 classes each day so we're on campus all day; Wed we have a lab, which is only 2 hours long; Thurs OR Fri are our clinical days which is assigned, we don't get to pick days or locations. Next term, we'll have classes and labs Mon-Fri. First term is the only term to have a day off during the week.
I also spoke to someone who is in the FIU ABSN program: and the schedule is essentially the same. class is usually an 8am to 4 or 5pm. and clinicals 7am to 3pm.
