I'm currently completing my undergrad+prereqs to apply in the next year to UM's ABSN program for the Spring 2019 session (Apps due next august). I know it's a very premature thread but I thought there might be other applicants for the Spring 2019 session who are already freaking out about apps like me. If any students who were accepted for previous threads could share their experience, tips, or stats here that would be incredibly helpful.

Im so happy for you! I can imagine the huge weight being lifted off your shoulders. Goes to show that if there are others still waiting for months to get an answer, don't assume you aren't accepted!!
I'm not sure when they send out rejections, but I'm interested in this as well. My application still says incomplete even though my app was verified back in April... It's been so long and plenty of other students have heard back from UM even though they submitted their apps in May/June, I kind of lost hope....
Don't lose hope! It's not over till its over! Rejections aren't sent out until the end, or at least that is what I understood from past forums. Students said they received rejection letters in late October. I wish they didn't make students wait that long, but you are not out of the game yet.
Hmm, I have another wondering question...does anyone know if we get any breaks at all during the 1 year? Like spring break or break b/w the spring and summer session? I'm trying to plan an important event and now I'm scared with what was on the letter that classes and labs might overtake holidays...

I don't know about breaks, but can you share with us what the letter said about classes and labs?
Another question I have for those who received acceptances earlier on: when do we have to have the background check and drug test completed? It said in the admissions letter I'll get another email about that in 2 days but I'm just curious now.
