  1. Another question I have for those who received acceptances earlier on: when do we have to have the background check and drug test completed? It said in the admissions letter I'll get another email about that in 2 days but I'm just curious now.
  2. @Melrosewood Thank you!! I'm rooting for the rest of you guys!
  3. Accepted!!! I'm so excited, can't wait to move to Miami and get this process started!!
  4. Not that I would expect anyone to come back to this page if it was the case but just out of curiosity was anyone flat out rejected yet or know someone who applied for this term and got rejected?
  5. Speaking of that "we've received your application" email...did anyone else think their wording of that email was so cruel by starting it with "we're pleased to inform you..." that's literally the only thing I saw in my inbox preview and got super hyped over nothing haha
  6. Yea please share stats cause I applied and had everything verified February 11th and mine still says incomplete. I called admissions earlier today and mentioned that people were hearing responses already with applications being verified at the end of May and that made no sense to me. They said you can't compare yourself to other applicants but that's a little difficult to do when it's supossed to be a rolling decision base with first come first serve admissions...
  7. @Melrosewood thanks and best of luck to you too! Hopefully we get positive news soon!!
  8. @melrosewood yea my personal statement was probably one of the best that I've written (at least I thought so haha) so that would also help. Honestly all these other schools have other pre requisites that I would have to complete and I don't really feel like doing anymore of those. At the rate I've gone with pre requisites I could have 1/4 of a new degree already haha
  9. @Melrosewood mine still says incomplete. Honestly my overall GPA was nothing to write home about (3.2) but my pre req gpa was close to a 3.7. This was the only school I've applied too for the spring 2019 term. I honesty think it's coming down to my experience level not being up to par. I only worked in healthcare for a year and that was 3 years ago. The only active healthcare work I do now is volunteer for my towns ambulance corps as an Aider.
  10. Nothing yet but I've honestly not been checking as much because I had everything verified by February 11th and haven't heard anything yet and some people who submitted everything at the end of May have been accepted so I'm feeling super discouraged. If it's rolling decisions I should have 100% heard something already...
  11. Honestly I don't know what's worse: thinking that not hearing anything yet means a flat out rejection OR that we're in the pile of people they'll look at when they need to fill the last spots at the very last minute? They definitely did that to people in the summer term and it looked like some of those guys had to scramble to find apartments within weeks of classes starting. Talk about stressful!!
  12. I really hope the next round comes out today cause I didn't hear anything yet and had everything verified feb 11th! I can't take the stress from this waiting game!!
  13. @hellooooooooo Awesome! I'm from Chappaqua
  14. @hellooooooooo I'm from Westchester County
  15. mine says incomplete too but in nursing CAS everything is verified for me as well. Ive checked past forum posts about this issue and it seems like it just means that an admissions decision hasn't been made for us yet.
