Hi guys!
I'm currently completing my undergrad+prereqs to apply in the next year to UM's ABSN program for the Spring 2019 session (Apps due next august). I know it's a very premature thread but I thought there might be other applicants for the Spring 2019 session who are already freaking out about apps like me. If any students who were accepted for previous threads could share their experience, tips, or stats here that would be incredibly helpful.
We got this.
Hi Everyone,
Big congrats to those of you who got accepted!
I'm applying to UM for the spring term as well. I am so lost about the process. Can anyone please clarify some things for me?
Can I start sending in my application without the letter of recommendation, resume, and transcripts or do I have to have all those things updated to nursingcas before hitting "submit Application"?
Also, if you paid nursingcas to input your course history, how long did it take for them to do it, from the time they received your transcripts?
Does anyone know if we can submit our application before we manually input our courses? Also, did anyone pay NursingCas to input all their courses for them? How long did that take?
I did not pay NursingCAS to input my courses, however, you are required to do so before submitting your application. Once the courses are inputted, and you submit your application, NursingCAS will then be able to verify your application and calculate your GPA. If the letter of recommendation and resume are already in, your application will be verified much quicker.
I was told that my application would be presented to the committee for review today. I'm sure that other applications will be going up as well. Hopefully we hear back soon. For those that have been accepted, during what time of the day were you notified or checked CaneLink? I would like to avoid checking my CaneLink every 15 minutes since that is what I have been doing D:
