Hi guys!
I'm currently completing my undergrad+prereqs to apply in the next year to UM's ABSN program for the Spring 2019 session (Apps due next august). I know it's a very premature thread but I thought there might be other applicants for the Spring 2019 session who are already freaking out about apps like me. If any students who were accepted for previous threads could share their experience, tips, or stats here that would be incredibly helpful.
We got this.
Do you mind sharing your stats & experience? I submitted mine the same time as you and haven't had a status change yet
Sure no problem! I submitted my application on June 4th, it was also verified June 4th.
I have a BA in Environmental Studies/ minor in Geography. GPA 3.46
Pre-requisite GPA is also 3.46. Currently only taking Human Growth and Dev, ill be done in July.
I currently volunteer at Nicklaus Children's Hospital in Neurology, but I just started in May.
I worked as an administrative assistant in a SNF in California, working primarily with long-term neurodegenerative patients. I did administrative work, but significantly supported organization of nurse's station/ opening and closing patient charts and faxing med orders.
I don't have my BLS certification but I do have Adult and infant AED/CPR/ First Aid Certification.
I am part of the online chapter of the National Society of Leadership and Success.
I also attached my TEAS score which was a 92.7 even though UM didn't require it.
Let me know if you want to know anything else!

Oh wow!! That's anazing! I'm confident you got accepted! Thanks for sharing :)
Has anyone received an email from UM today? Or perhaps have had anything change in their CaneLink? I reached out to someone again today and I received a response that was very cryptic in my opinion... I'm trying not to get my hopes so I don't get disappointed since my CaneLink still hasn't changed.

Nothing here either! What did they say?
Essentially that applications that were up for review on Tuesday, June 26, will have to wait for official notification from the admissions office, though decisions have already been made. Also mentioned to keep checking CaneLink.
I have heard of people getting admissions letters even though their application status continued to say incomplete.
My status changed but I never got an email saying anything about it or any notification that my application was under review.
