I am a UK born citizen trained in Australia hence I am going via the overseas trained route. I passed my CBT test and am in the full application and assessment stage.
I am interested in sharing information with people who are also in this stage of the application.
I commenced my application in 2013 under the old process which was rejected due to lack of clinical hours. I received a letter from NMC advising me of the new process. Like many people on this forum, this entire process has been long, drawnout, frustrating and tedious for me!!!!!!!
anyone here who is having difficulty with their nmc account? in my professional education and training section specifically in the numbet of years education.I would write 10 years but eveytime i save it the next time i would open my accountbit would ALWAYS LEAVE THAT SECTION BLANK. i dont know whats wrong but only that portion that i cant really fill up properly. please i badly need ur help. I canr continue with my submission with this problem. thank you so much. Godbless us all.
Hi, the information NMC gave you is correct. You need to write or email them and request to transfer your files from the old process into the new system. You need to outline though the reasons why you are requesting this including what documents you want to be transferred. You need to be specific. Please be mindful that your letter needs to be written politely.
Thanks for your reply. I finally got an email response, only my transcript could be transferred. One of the other documents was out by two days but I still have to resubmit. I'll be back on in 3 or more months when hopefully I can apply for my OSCE.
I am now able to view my submitted application as a "read-only" document. I guess this is a sign that things are progressing. I cannot view copies of the posted items though. I have been notified by email that all iterms have been received.

Im seeing the same thing on my NMC account. However, I still did not receive an email from NMC. Must be because Im still lacking the Saudi Registration Verification form. But all the downloadable forms I have sent to NMC has a note on the side that says 'this document has been received'.
The email I received from the NMC was in response to an email I sent them enquiring about my status. They have not spontanously contacted me with regards to anything.

Hi, Im also in the same boat with you guys. I am based in London and last week I visited NMC to see whether all the documents delivered safely. The receptionist at the NMC said if I visited the NMC between 10am to 11am I can meet someone face to face to discuss otherwise phone line discussion is the only option. Anyway I talked someone over the phone at the reception desk and the operator said all documents have been arrived although my NMC account showed some document not indicated 'received'. The guy said the assessment will take about 9weeks or so.
BTW if any of you guys currently stay or live in London, I would like to meet and maybe study together, share information face to face. Maybe travel to Northampton university for OSCE together if we can arrange the same exam date so maybe less nervous?
I submitted all my documents in Apr so hopefully I can hear from NMC by June. Meantime I will look for a job position as phlebotomist or HCA. Im not sure if its ok to leave my email address here but if you think its not appropriate then reply me then Ill delete. Thanks.

Hello I just wanted to reach out and inquire if you has the same difficulties I have had with my Saudi Verification form. Were you able to get the SCFHS to complete your form?
Yes it seems that the NMC basically just updated the way we can view our application status, Im in contact with some other people who are also in the Full Application stage and it seems we they just updated all of our accounts a few weeks ago.

also, can a psychiatrist or psychologist be my employer reference? i work in a small private rehabilitation center with ho head nurses because all nurses ahead of me are now OFW. it says that a medical practitioner can fill up the form. what do i do?
also, can a psychiatrist or psychologist complete the employer reference for me? i work in a small rehab center in the province. i do not have any superior nurse. there are only 3 nurses including me. all of us are batchmates. those who trained us are now working abroad.
the center is owned by a dentist and the psychiatrist. HELP! should i ask my colleague to fill it out or have our psychiatrist complete the forms although he is always in the rehab center. my better option is the psychologist who is always at the rehab, can she fill it out?
