Hey everybody! Anyone applying for the above mentioned program? I haven't had luck finding any threads, in regard to this, for that specific year. I would like to find people who are so we can keep in touch through this process.

I believe it is 11:59 pm 12/01/2020. The deadline in her emails just has a date and no time listed so I am assuming. I would email her though if you are worried. Also if there is a deadline listed, the nursingcas website states that you have until 11:59 pm ET  on the day of the deadline.

 

Thank you! For your essays are they around the 300 word cutoff? I noticed a lot of mine are almost on the borderline like 297, 298, etc. Is this okay or is everyone's essays significantly less than 300 words?

Quite a few of mine are right around the cutoff, too.

Hi all! I just finished the HESI, and after reading through these comments I’m a bit worried.. I didn’t speak to a proctor but my camera light  was lit green the entire time. I also didn’t have to show my environment, just had to take a pic of myself and my ID. Does this mean I didn’t have a proctor and my scores aren’t valid??

Pretty sure the application is due by 11:59 PM today. The HESI must be completed by 7:00 PM today.

I'd contact Proctoru as soon as possible from what other posts have said when they experienced the same thing. I have tested with Proctoru before and you have to show your environment and the proctor does interact with you at the beginning.

thank you. They also emailed me my results too, so it seems like all was well. I’ll call to double check tomorrow. So weird

Did anyone get like a really bad score on the HESI. Because I did. I had like really bad anxiety and I was super stressed and it took me like 2 hours to connect to a Proctor. 
im just really stressed out about my score

I called and they said I had an AI remote proctor instead, which is still valid. They said I wouldn’t have had access to the exam, let alone scores provided afterwards, if it wasn’t valid. I can breathe now LOL.

The avg for most of the sections was listed for the “class” and nationally. For the class it was  around an 81 . It depends on what you consider bad but I think as long as it’s above a 75 you’re fine! They look at everything holistically. If you end up needing to take the exam again I’m happy to tell you what I used to study, I got a 92.

I have everything done with my application but this one question- "Describe ways you are able to show others you care about them, yet do not compromise other people's needs and requirements". I cant for the life of me figure out what its asking. Anyone able to translate it?

Also, just to clarify, our HESI scores get automatically sent to UF, right? There's no need to do anything with them after you take the exam.

The same thing happened to me but I backed out and got in touch with a proctor. I'm not sure if it's valid. You may want to call ProctorU and ask them. I just got an email from (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) saying that my HESI scores were received. Did you get an email like that?

Yes I spoke with Elsevier this morning and they said I was “remote-proctored” and that they are valid. I got the email from (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) as well. So strange, not sure why they do live for most and remote for some.

SOS where is NursingCas do you submit your scores. I got an email from (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) saying she had not received them from Evolve and I needed to submit them in NursingCas.
