Jul 17, 20205 yr Hey everybody! Anyone applying for the above mentioned program? I haven't had luck finding any threads, in regard to this, for that specific year. I would like to find people who are so we can keep in touch through this process.
Aug 7, 20205 yr Author I haven't seen it either. I was going to give it until Monday and then email -----------------------. I've seen, in years past, where it was a little bit later than August 1st.

Aug 7, 20205 yr Author I haven't seen anything about that either. I imagine that with COVID they aren't doing any formal ones...maybe online. I'm still working on submitting my UF application online. I live out of state but I'm still a resident because my husband's active duty Navy. They want so many documents to prove my residency. How long did it take for you to hear back about you acceptance to UF?
Aug 7, 20205 yr That's what imagine and I did not do the UF application yet because I wanted to know the acceptance scores for the HESI since I took last year and it's passing for most schools (but I don't see the information). I'm in-state so I'm pretty easy with that especially with my voters registration and my cars tag etc.
Aug 7, 20205 yr Author If you search through the posts on here from the 2020 and 2019 applicants you will see their scores and the ones who got accepted. I know that UF is waiving the GRE for graduate applicants. Initially they switched the test to an online attorney, so I'm wondering if that's what the hold-up is for the HESI (maybe they're trying to figure out a way to switch it to online test-taking).
Aug 7, 20205 yr Ohh OK, that makes sense and I was looking to seeing the median of those who got accepted and the TEAS went online so I'm pretty sure they might follow suit. Did you take the HESI already or waiting for a test date?
Aug 7, 20205 yr Author I haven't. I'm waiting. I have taken the TEAS V and I got an 88. I wish that they would take that score. It seemed like the average grade was in the 80's for past applicants. I didn't see many comment about their test scores or GPAs, but GPAs were high, too (I think 3.6 and above). Where are you located? I'm hoping to get into the Gville program. Thats where I'm from. My parents and twin sister live their and they can watch my girls while I go to school, since I'll be doing it all while my husband stays in Rhode Island.
Aug 7, 20205 yr Oh, yeah I'm in South Florida and from NY so im applying to schools up there as well, and yeah I hope you can get in as well. I have an 80 in HESI and I'm just hoping that my extracurricular activities are well-suited. Are you applying to other schools?
Aug 7, 20205 yr Author I may apply to JU and UNF, since I have family in Jacksonville who can help with my girls while I'm in nursing school. Also, UMass Dartmouth is thirty minutes from me (I'm currently in Newport, RI), so I may apply there as well.
Aug 7, 20205 yr Author So, I just reread the UF accelerated BSN website and said that the nursing application would open in late August.
Aug 7, 20205 yr OK, I looked on the site and it just said Summer well thats a better answer. Also, how is the cost of living in RI?
