Hello!
I noticed that there isn't a thread yet for all of us who are thinking about applying next summer for UF's Accelerated BSN. I know it's only June but I can't be the only one who is already stressing about the application process, the essays, not being good enough, etc. ?
Hopefully this thread can be a place where we can ask questions and support each other throughout the process!
A little about me: I currently attend UF as a Health Education major and would love to stay here and study at the Gainesville campus, but if I get into the Jacksonville one I will gladly go there! They're also requiring the HESI exam this year and I was wondering if anyone knew any tips and tricks. I've only ever heard of the TEAS! I find it so interesting that this one tests our anatomy/physio knowledge, but also kinda frightening because anatomy at UF was a nightmare for me LOL.
Good luck ya'll! We got this!

Nothing for me, if it is sent today I have a feeling it will be at the end of the day. The office closes at 5pm. I wouldn't be surprised if it came out around 4:30-5 pm. I am sure that they know if they send it during the morning word will get out and they might get bombarded with calls. Sending it at the end of the day guarantees no calls until Monday and with the approaching Holiday they could very well be out on Monday to start the break.
If anyone receives the link can they let the group know so that we can be on the look out?
I have not heard anything either, but I agree with @natqueencole. They’ll probably send it around 4:30-5ish today, if anything.
by the way, does receiving the assessment mean they are serious about accepting you? or do a lot of people get or who don’t ever get accepted?

I think, receiving the assessment means that you had a complete application and met requirements. Looking at last year's thread there were some who did not receive it so there might be other factors. Not receiving it I would think means they are no longer considering you for the program but receiving it doesn't mean that you are in . I was told by another student that after the assessment deadline that is when they start reviewing assessment results, essay questions, letters of rec. etc and they make final decisions. It looks like last year the assessment went out to about 270 or more students but they only accept about 200, maybe less between the 2 campuses.

Thanks for all the info! Do you have any idea around how many students applied to both of the campuses/how many get accepted at each?
