U.S.A. Florida

Hello!

It's only May but I am already working on getting my ducks in a row for the Post-bacc application. I thought it would be nice to start a thread so applicants can support each other through the process! I know I have a million questions already and I am trying hard not to pester admissions.

I am so excited to be almost done with my prerequisites and I am looking forward to finally applying this Fall!

I would love to hear about everyone's background, projects, questions, and hopefully we can help each other out.

Good luck to all! We got this!

Hi guys!

I noticed you are all working on your essays! Good luck on them and remember that the best way to answer these questions is to think about how they relate back to nursing. I would definitely recommend using life examples rather than just "stating" things you would do, etc.

Again, good luck! :-)

Thank you for the clarification. Good luck!

still struggling to answer some of these essays :(

hello everyone!

just curious where everyone did their undergrad degree and what year everyone graduated!!

i completed my undergrad degree at UF in Health Education and I am graduating in December of this year!

Hi Miranda! I am also planning to graduate with a degree in health education from UF this coming spring. I have a question, when you filled out the post-bacc app, did you have to send official transcripts to UF? I heard that since we already have attended UF that we didn't need to request an official transcript. What did you do?

Some of the questions are definitely tough! What helped me a ton was to talk about it with family or friends and bounce ideas around. Things I thought sounded silly actually were compelling, and vice versa. Even though no one can answer these for you, sometimes it helps to look at it from a different angle or even verbalize your difficulties.

You got this!!

Hi! I received a degree in Public Health from Western Illinois in 2017, and I am currently finishing my Master of Science in Health Sciences with an emphasis in School Health from Western Illinois. I moved down to the Jacksonville area for my internship in Amelia Island during the Summer of 2017 but then headed back to Illinois for graduate school. I'm looking forward to being back in the sunshine state!

Is our application due before midnight today or before midnight tomorrow?

Is our application due before midnight today or before midnight tomorrow?

I found this information on another school's FAQ about nursingcas deadlines, hopefully this helps. There was no specific time I could find when looking at University of Florida's application specifically.

"Applications close at midnight (EST) or 9pm (PST) on the designated deadline date."

Hello!

I filled out my post-bacc a while ago and I honestly do not remember if I sent them my transcripts. I would email Kenneth Wynn and ask him if they require you to send them since you already go to UF!

Sorry I could not be of much help ):

Hey everyone!

Just curious if anyone has been accepted anywhere else yet or is applying to any other programs besides UF!

I am applying to UF as well as UNF and UCF for accelerated and if those do not work out then I will be applying to some traditional programs in FL!

wishing everyone the best of luck in the coming weeks!!

Hi everyone :)

What does everyone's status say on nursingCAS? I read that it should say mailed when it's mailed to the university. I applied on November 9th and mine still says "complete". I'm a little worried
