Hello!
It's only May but I am already working on getting my ducks in a row for the Post-bacc application. I thought it would be nice to start a thread so applicants can support each other through the process! I know I have a million questions already and I am trying hard not to pester admissions.
I am so excited to be almost done with my prerequisites and I am looking forward to finally applying this Fall!
I would love to hear about everyone's background, projects, questions, and hopefully we can help each other out.
Good luck to all! We got this!
is it terrible that i only did one professional and one personal like the application said?? now i am scared!!
It's not at all terrible! You submitted exactly what they asked. I originally had 2 and the last course I took ended up being an opportunity for a third, but I wasn't initially counting on it.
I think the content of the letters matters most! My husband hires a lot of people and in his opinion, letters go a looooong way in vouching for someone and revealing their strengths (or weaknesses). If you feel confident your recommendations represent who you are and what you have to offer, then 2 letters is plenty!
Just submitted my application, and all I have to say is waiting till February is going to drive me crazy. I'm glad there is this forum to talk with all of you fellow applicants. Good luck to everyone completing their applications this week. Can't believe the deadline is so soon already!
I talked to Kenneth and he said a few weeks after the application deadline, selected individuals will receive a link for a personality assessment and then final decisions will be coming out in february! so you technically do not have to wait until february if that helps at all!!!
wish you the best!
Close to submitting application. Though, can someone please clarify what essay question #6 "How do you handle it when you are interested in some subjects more than others?" is asking? Is it asking how I deal with classes (subjects) I am not interested in as much as others. (Not as much as other people are interested in them) or how I handle situations where others are interested in a subject more than I? Thanks in advance.

I interpreted it as "what do you do if a subject doesn't interest you (but obviously you have to study it and pass)."

Hi all,
did you guys fill out the achievements/awards section on nursingcas? It says to check your program materials checklist, and I dont think UF's materials required it. Not sure. Thanks!
