Hey y'all! Who's applying to UF's ABSN program? Go Gators! :)
Thank you!
I think the confusion is this: the letters were printed on March 3rd which means the decisions were final on that day. Maybe they weren't in the mail that exact day but the woman didn't lie to us about "Monday" because she very well knew the letters were printed and probably assumed they would be mailed out the same day. They are all personally addressed so I am sure it takes more than a day to get together and ready.
I don't believe anyone lied here. Just wanted to clarify. Also, good luck to everyone! The ones who heard-seems like it's all Gainesville residents so I am confident everyone else will find out Monday. I am so happy for everyone!
I will give it a shot lol

Congrats to those of you have been accepted! I'm in the current accelerated class (graduating in August) and will be selling my books if anyone is interested. It will include the entire bundle that they sell you first semester (~$1200) plus additional books you have to buy in future semesters (~$600). All the books are in perfect condition (I'm not one to write in books) and I'll sell them for about $1200 total. Additionally, I'll include pdf versions of some books and some study guides that I made. The only book I'll be hanging on to is my NCLEX review- I'll part with everything else in May. Email me at [email protected] if you're interested (I'm not on this site often). Also, feel free to email me if you have any questions about the program- I'll give you honest answers about my experience. :)
I'm glad to hear that letters are being recieved. If anyone has and questions regarding their letter, please feel free to contact me. If you have not received anything by today please let me know and I will look in to the matter. My contact info again, for anyone who may have a concern or question, is [email protected] and my phone number is (352) 273-6383.

In response to the postmark: it says Pitney Bowes, which is an outside company. It's possible that CON sent the letters to another company to mail (which is what it looks like to me). Also, I work at UF and know first-hand how long it takes to mail something from UF (in UF lingo it's called "campus mail"). CON could have given the letters to campus mail to sort and deliver (at least that's how we do it where I work), which always adds a couple of days to the mailing process. So, while it's possible they "lied" to us about when the letters were sent, I don't think it's fair to jump to that conclusion based on the postmark date. Just my two cents.
