UF ABSN Summer 2021
Well, I've been advising students for 20 plus years specifically for the college of nursing and although I'm not a nurse myself nor have I ever applied to a nursing program I understand the anxiety and the stress (and yes, even the frustration) I know many of you are feeling. Try to take a deep breath, drink some wine if you need to, in fact have a glass for me since I don't drink anymore, and try not to stress. I know that's easy for me to say. I'll follow up with everybody just as soon as I can.

UF ABSN Summer 2021
Hi everyone, Ken here. Looks like someone beat me to the punch on an update. Thanks for sharing that. I'm not normally up this late checking emails are responding to threads, but I've got a set of sick 3-year-old twins here that I'm trying to take care of. As I stated in the other thread, I appreciate everyone's patience so far and I assure you we are working to get decisions on as soon as possible. If you have any questions, you are more than welcome to email me.

UF accelerated BSN 2021
Hi everyone, Ken from UF CON here.. Although I do monitor these threads from time to time I don't normally comment on them. Normally if anyone needs to get a hold of me they can do so pretty easily through email. However, I know everyone's waiting on decisions so I figured I'd jump on and chime in. My plan had been to have decisions out today but obviously that has not happened. As I indicated to anyone who emailed me, while Friday was my plan at the end of the day t's not event up to me when decisions are released. I know everyone is anxious to recieve their decisions just as soon as possible. Rest assured that as soon as I am given the go ahead to release decisions I will do so. And no, that doesn't necessarily mean waiting until a Friday to do so. I sincerely appreciate everyone's patience. In the meantime, if you have any questions please don't hesitate to reach out. -Ken

2015 UF Accelerated BSN
Hi Everyone. Yes, this Ken Foote from the UF College of Nursing. I do check these posts from time to time and like to check in when or if needed. I know everyone has been very anxious to get their letters and I assure you all letters have gone out in the mail as of last Wednesday. It does take a few days for the mail to process out because of the processing center here on campus and because mail gets sent to Jacksonville for processing now. Both admit and denial letters were sent so most everyone should be receiving something either way. I would ask that if you haven't received anything by the end of the day Wednesday, then you can feel contact me. I know that decisions went out about the same time this year as last year, even though this year was a little later than I had hoped. As I'm sure you can imagine this process takes time and I do my best to get things out as quickly as I can. If you have any questions regarding you are welcome to get in touch with me via email at. Calling can be difficult but you are welcome to give me a call as well in the office. Here's my contact info (I apologize for the very out of date photo): Kenneth Foote » College of Nursing » University of Florida

UF's Generic BSN Program Fall 2012
Well said Affinity. I can't help but agree with you. I know how tough it is for students here at UF and I can only assume it's the same at other schools. I have nothing but respect for Nursing students because I know they have taken on one of the toughest undergraduate programs out there. I truly wish to echo those good luck wishes to everyone.
