Hello. I recently attended the UCSF MEPN information session and I am really excited about the program. I am still finishing my pre-reqs and I want to be as ready as possible. Anyone else out there looking to apply for 2019?
Also,I would love any advice on rounding out my application for PMHNP.
Stats:
Undergrad theater major 3.3, Science and Pre-reqs (prob) 3.7
GRE Verb 48th %tile Quant 30th %tile Analytical 18th %tile
Work Exp: 10 useless years in the film business and then 3 years Admin at private practice and hospital
Volunteer: UCLA nursing, Suicide Crisis Hotline, Veteran's Administration Domicilliary
LOR: Prob only 4 really great ones. Is not sending 5 a bad idea?
I would love to hear from you!

I can sympathize, I am thinking we should know soon- at least by Friday. But that is just a guess. Hopefully your deadline is extended if you don't find out in the nick of time. If you do find anything useful out, please share.
Hi all,
I have been extremely cryptic on this forum but was present on last year's UCSF MEPN forum! Last year, I was denied an interview and reapplied this year. Had my interview on the 25th and I have been avoiding checking allnurses so that I could really focus on myself, my application, my work, and the interview! Now that that is over, I have been anxiously keeping myself busy and still checking my email every 5 minutes and wanting to go home to see if any mail came in.
I am so anxious to hear back and I hope we all get to hear soon!
One thing I did not take advantage of during the interview day was talking to the tuition folks... Did anyone find anything helpful???
Hi all,
I’m a 2016 MEPN, graduating in June from the FNP specialty. I came here to check if anyone has heard back because an incoming student I helped in the journey is just as nervous as you all are (and as I was 3 years ago). Reading these posts brings back exciting/nerve wracking memories. I was in the second batch of interviews on Jan 29, 2016. I received my email of application status change on Feb 12th. It was a two week turn around, notification received on a Friday. It’s likely the same time frame for you all. Enjoy your Valentine’s Day and don’t check your emails (easier said than done but you will more than likely not receive notifications tomorrow). Do something loving and good for YOU! You’ve come so far, you deserve the same care you look forward to giving to others. Be well future colleagues!

Thank you @JoiCam It is comforting to hear time frames. But the anxiety!
Congratulation on being in your 3rd year! Enjoy your Valentine's Day and good luck in finishing the year!

I felt like talking to the financial aid people was bad luck and figured I would wait for an acceptance. Hopefully someone who went will chime in.
Now back to work for me... until I get anxious and check my email or allnurses again- to see if anyone has heard anything.
