Hello. I recently attended the UCSF MEPN information session and I am really excited about the program. I am still finishing my pre-reqs and I want to be as ready as possible. Anyone else out there looking to apply for 2019?
Also,I would love any advice on rounding out my application for PMHNP.
Stats:
Undergrad theater major 3.3, Science and Pre-reqs (prob) 3.7
GRE Verb 48th %tile Quant 30th %tile Analytical 18th %tile
Work Exp: 10 useless years in the film business and then 3 years Admin at private practice and hospital

You will get an email that your application status has 'changed' and then you sign in and see your decision. At least that's what happened with us last year. I think I got the email in the afternoon (around 2pm). It was a Thursday.
Those UCSF apartments are a sweet deal. I wonder what the lottery odds are for getting one of those.
On a separate note, did anyone else notice that there was a sign-in sheet for the meet and greet? My inner paranoiac wonders what they do with those names.
Yes, it's a sweet deal. Your odds will depend on your circumstances (if you're needing housing for you and your family/partner) as well as your move-in date. I chuckled when I read about the sign-in sheet!
Is anyone else obsessively checking their email? I'm doing my best to keep busy to take my mind of the waiting game...and it's not working. If there are any insiders who know when Steven/UCSF will start communicating the admission outcomes, please divulge!

They're meeting to make their final decisions so you'll hear next week. At least that's what we were told. If look at the 2018 MEPN thread, I went back a couple of years to see when they came back with final decisions. It's historically been around the second or third week in February. We got our notifications on February 15th last year. Yours could be earlier or later. Wishing you the best of luck!
Jesus, I checked my inbox at least 50 times today. If I do not pay the tuition for another program that I was previously accepted in by this week, I will be kicked out. UCSF remains silent. Anybody in the same boat?

Rumor is that the admissions committee met on the 7th, so the decisions have likely already been made. I would consider reaching out to SJ to see if he is able to inform you of your admission status early, since you have special circumstances.

I am not in the same boat, aside from obsessively checking my email. I hope your other program can provide you with a couple more days of wiggle room.
