UCSF MEPN 2019
Hey everyone, a Facebook group has been created for the 2019 cohort. I can't provide a link here because it breaks Allnurses terms of service, but if you search "UCSF MEPN" on FB you should be able to quickly find the "UCSF MEPN 2019" group. One quirk I found was that the group did not show up in the search results if I searched "UCSF MEPN 2019", so leave the year out.

Should we consider making a UCSF MEPN 2019 Facebook group?

Rumor is that the admissions committee met on the 7th, so the decisions have likely already been made. I would consider reaching out to SJ to see if he is able to inform you of your admission status early, since you have special circumstances.

Looking back at the past few years, decisions have been sent out between 2/7-2/21. Most often right around valentines day.

Those UCSF apartments are a sweet deal. I wonder what the lottery odds are for getting one of those. On a separate note, did anyone else notice that there was a sign-in sheet for the meet and greet? My inner paranoiac wonders what they do with those names.

Could any current MEPNs clue me in on how much they are paying in monthly rent? I know for sure I'll have to subsidize with student loans if I'm accepted, but I'm curious how much you all are paying. Thanks!

Try a search on LinkedIn. I searched UCSF MEPN CNM and found a few people who listed that credential.

I feel like if I was an application reader I would be more annoyed by a small, nonstandard font than a paper that went a bit over two pages. It says "approximately two pages" for the personal statement anyways, so it's not a hard rule.

I sent it, but only because I took it recently and it was free for me to send. I wouldn't send it if I had to pay for it, because I'm 99 percent sure they aren't even allowed to take it into consideration.

Just submitted my application for the PNP! That last email motivated me to finish my goal statement since it seems they're eager to start reviewing applications. Any other PNP's here?
