Hi!! I wanted to make a group for new nurses who applied to the fall residency program at UCSD. Applications opened 06/27/2022. Comment if you applied!

I'm not really sure tbh but was virtual so that can always be awk right? LOL. I havent ever done a nursing interview so it was new. What makes you feel that way?

51.80 an hour, with 4.00 night diff

Jan 2023 it is going up like 6%

Was it just you and the interviewers there? Have you heard of anyone else who got a call from ICU? I thought the ICU app was separate from the nicu app

I did not interview with NICU. Only ICU and yes I believe a couple other people here said they had got interviews with ICU, I believe I saw a couple people yesterday interviewed with ICU, look back a few pages

How was your interview? Did they ask ICU specific situational questions?

I self doubt myself a lot, a lot to say I won't probably won't get hired.... but I feel like I actually did good. Good enough to get hired? Thats hard to say.. Theres limited openings for ICU. I was only asked one heard situational case study like scenario (which I found very hard) and another one that was a "what would you do" scenario but other than that everything else was normal general interview questions I believe
