Hi!! I wanted to make a group for new nurses who applied to the fall residency program at UCSD. Applications opened 06/27/2022. Comment if you applied!

Felt eh about the interview. Panel of 9 people and a total of 10 questions. Mixture of questions but everyone seemed really nice. Brought a portfolio and resumes but they didn’t really care LOL. I wonder how many they interview for how many spots

Hey guys, interviewed today. Not bad. Hope I get the job. My interview was 30-40 minutes. I’m a bit talkative and I was asked about 10 questions . Panel of 7

For those of you who already interviewed were the questions pretty straight forward? Was it a lot of scenario questions?

Yes questions were pretty straightforward not hard at all. Clinical scenario was pretty simple to me...but not bad at all...I had one scenario 

I interviewed for BMT....anyone else interview for oncology dept.?

Has anyone interviewed for ICU? Like neuro/sicu etc? My app was referred 8/23 but no call ?

Does anyone know how many people they are interviewing for L&D / postpartum?

Has anyone got an offer? I know they said the latest they had to pick people was the 19th but they said it might be earlier once they have checked references. I know my friend got an offer and she interviewed yesterday which I found odd. She sent her references last week.

Sorry not an official offer but she knew someone that knew one of the interviewers and she was told they would send her an offer soon because they had literally said she was going to get hired after the interview.
