Thank you so much!! I really appreciate it.  I was thinking of applying for the vaccine coordinator. Can you share your experience? What are the hours like? pay? If you don’t mind

No worries at all I love to share the info I find out.

I have training tomorrow but FLu shots don't start until Sept 12 hours are 0630 to 1500 or 1430 to 2230 I am per diem so it varies from facility

Pay starts at 35 depending on experience...

The ED manager was in my interview and I had ED as my number 3.

All managers were at this event of new grad interviews today, it was only 1 day,  so I think they are making decisions and if they are still haven't filled seats they well call back ups...decisions are to be made Sept 19th (one manager said "or later depending if we fill positions")

I was trying to find the Kaiser posting and didn’t see it!

I think the Kaiser posting closed but when they post it, it’s listed as “inexperienced RN”

Good Luck!! ED was my third choice too. I was referred to hiring but never got a call. Do you have experience at UCSD or any certifications? I’m trying to see what I can improve to have a better shot next time. I just graduated and haven’t even taken my NCLEX but I’m so ready to work LOL Thank you for all the information you shared❤️

Thank you! I'm from the Bay Area, so I've been anxiously waiting to hear back!

Yes I currently work.at UCSD but don't get me wrong I still have to go through the same process like everyone else. I have an ADN currently working on my BSN. I do have my nursing license as of May (I missed the cut off date for new grad in July) I have my BLS and my ACLS. And that's all...I have been a CNA for 10yrs at different hospitals (Scripps, Kaiser, UCSD, and Sharp)

Thanks for sharing:) I have my ADN as well and am getting my ACLS in a couple weeks. That gives me hope for the next round!

No worries... you got this...don't give up or get discouraged...I have seen New Grads with literally no work history at all and an ADN and still get hired...

Same here! I’ve been “referred to hiring department” since 8/22 and haven’t heard anything. My status hasn’t changed either though so maybe that’s a good thing? We just need to stay positive.
