  1. Hi! The on-demand interview is 8 questions and are all behavioral questions (tell us about a time you disagreed with a coworker, why do you want to work at Scripps?, etc.). The questions aren't given in advance but you can take as much time as you need to prepare. Each answer can be up to 2 minutes and you get unlimited re-records. You can't jump around between questions so you can't go back once you move on. Mine had a lot of technical error messages, so it took more time (and messed up with my nerves a bit, but it all worked out).. I got the request for the on demand interview immediately after submitting my application. it did not look like anybody from the hospital took a look at it and then sent me the request. it seemed like, as long as the answers you provide while applying meet certain criteria, then automatically you get the on demand interview request. You'll do great!
  2. I also got the email for on demand interview as soon as I submitted my application.
  3. this is great, exactly what I wanted to know. thank you so much
  4. got a screening phone call from one of the units in the oncology listing. I was asked a few questions. I was told they were calling all candidates referred to that unit, and that I should hear back at the end of the week if moving forward to the live interview. things are moving! best of luck everyone.
  5. Hi guys, im applying soon to another new grad cohort at Scripps. Could you please tell me more about the on demand interview? I am totally unfamiliar with anything like it. How long does it last? Or how much time is given to you? Are the questions disclosed in advance, so you can prepare your answers? Can you re-record/edit? Thank you!

  7. now my oncology and specialty also show as referred... best of luck everyone.
  8. I applied on 3/29 to the 3 openings (general, specialty, oncology). yesterday, general changed to "referred to the hiring department". the other 2 still have my status as "application received".
  9. I have not moved forward in this recruitment, so my portal does not say "under consideration", and my applications are not active anymore.
  10. After leaving this reply here, I received an email about this, since both of my options had been at Grossmont. And similarly to maggiebags, it asked for my preference from a list they provided in the email, with options at other hospitals. did it ask you to submit new preferences from a list provided in the email?
  11. Oh this is interesting/weird... I also applied to Grossmont's acute care (5E neuro/stroke) and ED, and did not get this email... Thank you for sharing..
  12. I applied to the OR/surgery job listing and today got rejection email. good luck to the others still on the race!
  13. You select your 2 choices in your application.
